Love is in the air...

Now I know that it is nowhere near Valentine's Day but I think my latest card could be given to anyone you love just to say I Love You! I got the idea for this card from a Finally Friday video.

The papers are all from My Minds Eye Stella & Rose Gertie collection. The card base is a shimmery pink card I have had in my stash for ages. There are new Prima flowers and the stamps are from Kaisercraft's Child's Play set. The stamps are white embossed and cut out with Spellbinders dies and mounted on foam squares.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Sweet Stampin - Something Old, Something New - Old card base / new Spellbinders!
Stampin for the Weekend - Challenge 11 - My Favourite Things - Flowers (i just love them so much!!)

New Stuff!!

Everything (well almost everything) is now organised!!! I promised myself I wouldn't start using any of my new things until I had a place for everything I bought to live and now most of it is there. I got heaps of amazing products and tools at the Scrapbook & Papercraft Convention in Brisbane but I think the best of all.... a Cuttlebug!! I have wanted one of these for quite a while now and my family bought me one for my birthday (that was about a month ago)! So while I was in Brisbane I just had to get some dies and embossing folders to use. I was so excited this afternoon to try out the Cuttlebug that I die cut and embossed all on the same card!

The flower is a new stamp I got from the Layered Flowers set by Hero Arts. I just love this stamp because it has heaps of space so I can colour it! I cut the two scalloped circles and the tag out using Spellbinders dies and the yellow background is embossed using Cuttlebug's Swirls folder. The twine is also a new product that I have been seeing around a lot lately and just had to get! The yellow checkered paper is from My Minds Eye's Stella & Rose - Gertie collection.

Waterfall Card

I also made this card just before I went to Brisbane. I was 'researching' on YouTube and came across a tutorial for waterfall cards so I thought I would try one. It is very simple to make!

This one just has Happy Birthday stamped on each section of the waterfall in different colours. The background paper was just scrap I had from another project.

Thank You Berry Much!

While I was cleaning up before I went away I found this image of Rebecca Raspberry from Kraftin' Kimmie already coloured on my desk! I think I coloured her about a month ago so I'm not going to be able to add the Copic colours (although I know her dress is some combination of YG 00 - 06).

I cut Rebecca out in an oval using my Cricut and matted her on green cardstock. The black background and green flowers are from a KaiserCraft kit called Chapter One. I just love the colour of the green (i'm a bit biased as it is my favourite colour!).

I'm Back

Hi!!

Sorry I have been gone for ages but I've been very busy and I'm coming back with a bang!! I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Scrapbooking & Papercraft Convention in Brisbane last weekend and have spent the whole of this week rearranging my craft room to allow for all the things I bought!! It is amazing what variety there is that I cannot get from my local store so I went all out.

I have also created a few cards and did a class at the convention so I'll show you everything very soon!!
